Examples of My Work

Example of my work for television

A TV package I edited, looking at an exhibition at The Senedd on palliative care, speaking to Mark Isherwood MS. Some video is taken from"What Matters Most?" by Ceridwen Hughes. The exhibition explored how end of life care can be improved based on the experiences of those affected. The project was inspired by photographer and director Ceridwen Hughes’ own experience of end of life care, when her mother died in 2020. Through photography, film, and written narratives, the exhibition introduces the experiences of those living with dying and the caregivers involved in providing care and support.

Africa and Wales celebration at the Senedd: “We need more representation”

Zimbabwean visual artist and book publisher Samantha Roumbidzal Vazhure said “increasing representation in art would help to amplify unheard voices”. She was a speaker in the Senedd at an event celebrating the Wales and Africa Community. The event was a celebration of African culture and heritage; particularly with an emphasis on integration into Welsh life.

Charities, caterers, singers, dancers, politicians and speakers all contributed to the events – creating global links and connections. Spe

International Women’s Day: “Let’s desexualise women’s bodies” says Senedd panellist

“We can say the words vulva and vagina without it being the worst people on the planet. We need to have a conversation about these things”

That’s the message from Molly Fenton, the founder of the Love Your Period Campaign.

“The whole idea of making [women’s bodies] more acceptable is to take away the sexualisation and stigma.”

She was part of a panel in the Senedd addressing secondary school pupils from Cardiff, ahead of International Women’s Day this Friday (8th March).

Cardiff: Exhibition highlighting what matters in life and in death

A photography exhibition in the Senedd aims to provide an insight into end of life care.

The film above is part of the What Matters Most? display and explores how end of life care can be improved based on the experiences of those affected. It is sponsored by Mark Isherwood MS.

He said: “The ethos in our hospices and palliative care providers is that we are not about death, we are about life, it is all about life right until the end and afterwards. So it is about the life of the individual with

Speak Don't Stare - (2022 Documentary)

After spending a lifetime with a rare condition, Sarah Bowdidge is used to being stared at. From being watched in public to being followed on the street, attention from passers-by is the norm.

In this moving documentary, Sarah sets out to encourage others to ask questions about disability, rather than staring. She also explores how others perceive disability and how these reactions can impact ever day life, both for her and her family.

REVIEW: Rocky Horror Show returns to Cardiff for its 50th anniversary

It’s hard to believe Rocky Horror is celebrating its 50th anniversary and its cult following is only growing. With iconic songs such as “Time Warp” and “Sweet Transvestite”, this show is not to be missed!

I went to the opening night on Bank Holiday Monday, and was straight away amazed by all the fantastic costumes on display. I knew audience participation played a big part, but it still caught me off guard when audience members began shouting out responses.

The perfect Christmas show? BEAUTY & THE BEAST wows audiences in Cardiff Bay

Growing up with classic Disney films, Beauty and the Beast was always one of my favourites. Like Belle, I loved reading, and was swept away by the magic of it. I honestly didn’t know how the producers of this musical version were going to recreate the amazing original but be assured, die-hard fans will be happy. This production – currently at the Wales Millenium Centre in Cardiff Bay – is stunning.

Given that this is a production with a Disney budget, Beauty and the Beast was always going to be
